Console troubleshooting
Common problems in the console and the gateway errors that console settings cause, with what to change.
Gateway errors caused by console settings
When a request from LatentCode, LatentWork or an API client is refused, the error's type tells you which console setting to look at.

Console problems
I don't see the Administration group
It needs the Owner or Admin role in the active organization. Open the organization switcher, check your role next to each organization, and pick one you administer. Being a platform admin doesn't show it by itself.
A page I opened sent me somewhere else
Administration pages send people without the Owner or Admin role to Organizations, and the Overview dashboard sends them to My Usage.
I was signed out
Sign-ins last 8 hours. Sign in again. API keys aren't affected.
The page shows another organization's data
Everything follows the organization switcher. Pick the organization you meant; the page reloads for it.
"Organization creation is disabled on this deployment"
Your installation only allows joining existing organizations. Join a public one or ask for an invite.
A change in Settings hasn't taken effect
Changes apply within about a minute. Select Refresh on the Settings page to check what's saved.
Someone can't use a model I added
Adding a model to Model Settings doesn't grant it to anyone. Tick it under Allowed models on their tier.
An action is missing from a person's menu on Users
Menus only offer what your role allows. Admins can act on members, the owner on admins and members, and nobody on the owner. Account-wide actions need a platform admin.
