Welcome to LatentStack

LatentStack puts AI to work across your organization on infrastructure you own — your data never leaves your walls. These docs cover the three surfaces you'll actually use.

The three surfaces

Everything in LatentStack talks to one secure gateway. Pick the surface that fits how you work — they share the same account, the same models, and the same usage ledger.

LatentCode

An AI coding agent that lives in your terminal — a rich TUI for day-to-day work and a scriptable CLI for automation.

LatentWork

A desktop app that runs agentic workflows on your own machine — chat, documents, skills, and connectors, built for everyone on the team.

Admin Console

The web console where admins provision users and keys, set policy and guardrails, and everyone tracks their usage and spend.

How they fit together

  • Your admin creates your account in the Console and you get a personal API key (it starts with ls-).
  • LatentCode and LatentWork both connect to the gateway with that key — one to configure, then you're working.
  • Every request is routed, priced, and logged centrally, so your My Usage page always reflects real spend.
  • Admins control which models each tier can reach, content guardrails, and rate limits — all from the Console.

Install the stack

One command installs the LatentCode CLI and the LatentWork desktop app — pointed at this console automatically.
