LatentCode

An AI coding agent that runs in your terminal. Ask it to build a feature, refactor, explain a codebase, or fix a bug — it reads your files, runs commands, and edits code with your approval.

Two ways to run it

TUI — the default. Just run latentcode and you get a full-screen terminal interface with sessions, model switching, diffs, and keyboard-driven navigation.
CLI — run a single prompt headlessly with latentcode run, ideal for scripts, pipelines, and CI.

Get LatentCode

LatentCode is installed as part of the stack — the one-command installer on the Introduction page sets it up and points it at your gateway automatically. Once it's installed, confirm it's on your path:

$latentcode --version

Then continue to Getting started to add your API key and open your first session.
