A tour of what LatentWork can do — from rich chat and document previews to skills, plugins, and MCP tools.
Rich chat
Conversations render full markdown with syntax-highlighted code, emoji, and math and formulas — inline with $…$ and as blocks with $$…$$, typeset cleanly. Malformed formulas fall back to their raw text instead of breaking the message.
Document & artifact viewer
When the agent produces a file, preview it right inside the app — no need to leave LatentWork or hunt through folders. Supported previews include:
- PDFs — read the generated document in place.
- Slides — flip through a presentation.
- Spreadsheets — view and edit Excel-style sheets.
Previews scale as you resize the window, and files open correctly across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
Skills
Skills are packaged capabilities you can add to extend the agent. Manage them under Settings → Skills — list what's installed and import new ones. Skills live under .latentcode/skills and surface automatically in your sessions.
MCP servers & plugins
- MCP servers connect external tools and data sources; add and configure them under Settings → Extensions, with OAuth sign-in supported.
- Plugins extend the underlying engine; enable them under Settings → Extensions too.
Usage
Track your cost and token usage over time, pulled live from the gateway, under Settings → Usage.
